I invest in early software startups, usually first money in, usually before there’s much to look at besides the team and a working prototype. What I look for is uncomplicated. Founders who build: engineers, designers, product people. At this stage the only thing that compounds is how fast you can put something in front of a user and change it.
My strongest conviction is the intersection of AI and crypto. Not one absorbing the other. What interests me is the seam itself, where agents need money that settles in code rather than in banking hours, and neither side is yet clearly in charge.
The other thing I know well is starting, running, and exiting a business, and the intersection of tax, legal, and business that runs underneath all three. Most investors hand you a lawyer. I’ve been through it and will get into the details with you.
If any of that is relevant to what you’re building, write me an email.
